Thank you so much for the Sentinel, particularly the issue dated February 17 ["The art of healing"]. Every single page contained wonderfully inspiring words. I just couldn't put it down, and then reread it several times. This issue is just the latest of some really great issues—and they're all inspiring.

My husband and I and another couple are sending copies of the superb March 3 Sentinel ["War, peace, and the promise of prayer"] to pastors in our community, with a cover letter inviting them to join our local Church of Christ, Scientist, in opening their doors so that people can drop in for silent prayer and, perhaps, study. The expansive availability of Sentinels through [our church's] Reading Room makes this outreach right in step with this leavening and timely Sentinel, so divorced from any political position, and global in its response to the human need. It's a privilege to join with you in seeing and acting beyond earth's tumult to the reality of God's absolute power.
