United in prayer

When evil feels big and dominant, it's sometimes hard to know how to begin praying. Often, being truly thankful for something helps me get started. One thing I'm grateful for right now is how many people in the world have been praying. And I believe a huge number of those people are praying not just for themselves, or for their side to win, but for God's protection of everyone.

Unselfish love is the mightiest force on the planet. I find I don't feel helpless when I join this solidarity movement of prayer for others. My prayer today begins with this stanza from a hymn:
