Peace by peace

Do you know peace?
I am wondering how I can know peace.
I do not think I can know peace all at once.
But perhaps I can begin to know
Peace by peace.

Is your heart broken?
Are your hopes shattered?
I am wondering how we can rebuild.
Perhaps we can start to rebuild together
Peace by peace.

Does peace have an author?
Where do we find the author of peace?
Perhaps when we find peace, we can find the author.
Then peace can write a piece on peace, and call it
"Peace" by Peace.
