letters

Thank you for the article on the Brick Project in the January 6 Sentinel ["Building world unity"]. Since 1950 I have been involved via letters with people in other countries. To see this international education program so beautifully presented in a magazine I cherish made my heart sing.

"Sacred music hits a high note" in that same issue was another winner for me, since my grandson is now writing and performing hip-hop/rap with the focus on providing a positive alternative to the negative messages so prevalent today. I'm sending this article on to him to show he's not alone in his endeavor.

One last note. Longtime students of Christian Science still need "feeding," too. Some recent issues have a disproportionate amount of material without direct reference to the teaching and revelation of Mary Baker Eddy. All in all, I am grateful for the higher and broader view being offered in the Sentinels now, but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater!
