To Our Readers

It Has Become a cliche to say that men don't like to talk about their feelings. Many of them do, of course. Even among other men.

Recently we invited three men to talk with the Sentinel's Radio Edition, and they were eager to do so. The conversation was insightful, candid, and practical. What came up in our round-table discussion ranged from the pursuit of success, to wrestling with temptation, to marriage, to problem-solving in general. Topics that should be of interest to all our readers.

Others who have not hesitated to share their thoughts and convictions with us recently include professional golfer Ben Doyle, who explains in this issue some of the spiritual insights that have helped him and others both on and off the course. Also, if you've ever been put in a position that required you to take a strong stand for honesty, you'll appreciate what the author of our "Work-place" column has to say about his experience at work. He, too, speaks from the heart.

But men aren't the only ones speaking out this week. If you're feeling that your life's purpose is somewhat off course these days, another of our authors, this one a woman, has some insights she wants to share with you in "You are useful now." So does author Colleen Douglass, who writes about sweet, sweet forgiveness.

So, something from everyone. Something for everyone. Kids included.
