God's care for Toby

TOBY was just a tiny puppy when I, a high-school student at the time, brought him home to live with me. I felt very responsible for him because he was so young. I lived away from my family, too, in another family's home, where I took care of a little girl after school.

One day, I decided that the puppy needed a bath. The people I worked for didn't think this was a good idea for such a young puppy, but I didn't listen. Soon after the bath, Toby didn't act normal and cried continu ally. I felt sorry about what I had done.
