Quick healing of digestive trouble
Translated from French
One night I was awakened by intense abdominal pain. I had not felt entirely well when I went to bed, so when I woke up I realized I was experiencing a digestive problem. My first thought was to wonder what I had eaten that evening and during the day. But I immediately rejected the thought that food, rather than God, was responsible for my well-being (and I still cannot remember what I ate that day).
As the pain increased I felt the necessity of praying more deeply. My prayer was based on the statement of our guide, Jesus Christ, in the Gospel according to St. Matthew, "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man..." (15:11).
