Over a lifetime of studying and practicing Christian Science,...
Over a lifetime of studying and practicing Christian Science, I have had many healings. I am especially grateful for the loving, prayerful assistance from Christian Science practitioners who have responded to my call at different times when help was needed.
While I was serving as First Reader in my branch church, I was healed of severe pain in one leg, which made it difficult for me to get up from a sitting position. This imposition was met quickly through prayer. I came to realize more fully that God governs me and that I could recognize His control in all my activities. I also saw that nothing could restrict my freedom to serve God.
I have also been healed of loss of hearing in one ear and of numbness on one side of my face. Through applying the teachings of the Bible and of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, I have solved problems related to business, home, and the raising of our son, who never missed a day from school because of illness.
