Christian Science was introduced to my mother when I was...
Christian Science was introduced to my mother when I was a small child. Shortly afterward I was enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School, which I attended through my teenage years. Since that time Christian Science has been an essential part of my life.
While I was a young student of Science, it was a great joy to have Primary class instruction from a teacher of Christian Science.
About five years ago I fell, badly bruising one knee. It was painful, and I requested a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. As I worked to understand and demonstrate spiritual truths, progress was quickly evident. Soon I was able to take part in normal activities. After I had studied references from the Bible along with "the scientific statement of being" from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy over several weeks, my healing was complete. Gaining a greater understanding of God's allness is a vital part of healing, and I am most grateful for the lessons learned during this experience.
