There are no words to express my gratitude for Christian Science
There are no words to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I am so very grateful to God for Mrs. Eddy, for Science and Health and all her other writings, as well as the Christian Science periodicals, which she provided for.
When I was introduced to Science, I had been taking cortisone for twenty-five years. Doctors had told me that I would have to take this drug for the rest of my life—in fact, that if I quit taking it, it would mean my life. After studying Science and Health for a number of years and, also, after having been healed of severe constipation, persistent headaches, and a variety of allergies, I came to the realization that I didn't have to take the cortisone anymore.
I tried to quit taking the pills, but I had trouble. I noticed, however, that the more consistently I studied and applied the teachings of Science, the less desire I had to take the pills. One day I suddenly noticed that I hadn't taken any pills for several days. That was over three and a half years ago, and I haven't taken any since.
