How alive God is!
Though she was but a stranger on a bus
the good of her came through to me,
strengthening my concept of God.
(No, not the eyes and nose that pose as her
but pure, reflected qualities of the creator.)
I grew richer in the knowing of her
and I strained forward attempting to catch the all
of this God-idea.
Suddenly I am aware
how alive God is.
Common place has become for me
more like an every space for God's expressions.
And I must take time to open my eyes
to the All of God,
place my hand in the hand of my brother man,
heart to heart with His sons and daughters.
I will push out my walls
to let all people in.
