NOTICES
God's Gifts, a 36-page hard-cover picture book for youngsters four through eight, deals with the seven synonyms for God. The book has 32 full-page illustrations in four colors by Dora Leder. Each picture illustrates a quality—such as honesty, fearlessness, intelligence—that helps the child see clearly the meaning of a synonym. The thoughtful use of detail in every picture will delight the children. "God's Gifts" by Joan Emily Beringer, which forms the text for this beautiful book, was originally published in this periodical. You can buy the book for $6.95 at Christian Science Reading Rooms (Reading Room catalog number G61717), or you can order books directly from The Christian Science Publishing Society, One Norway Street, Boston, MA, U.S.A. 02115.
