BILLED FROM ABOVE

In Reading Rooms we barter old
and tattered concepts—find focus, scope,
take footsteps that begin a long
enrichment, exchange despair for hope.

Hope in the invisible?

Come where you may feast your sight
upon the healing splendors of His love.

You'll find
room and space
for viewing silently
(hitherto unseen in clouded grace),
jades, opals, emeralds, rubies, pearls,
of everlasting beauty.
Find all this breathing its
own living bliss.

Gold, too, that can't be lost,
attentive thought the only cost.
Untarnished gold of substance will appear
to listening one, thus banishing all fear.

Happy the man who finds such radiant hues
sparkling from citation and healing clues,
not like diamonds buried in the ground
but polished to perfection, rare and sound—
wisdom's sure investment for the wise—
the lasting riches of Mind's merchandise.
