The Nothingness of Nothing
How do you know the nothingness of nothing?
This question may come to thought when one considers Mrs. Eddy's statement in Science and Health, "The nothingness of nothing is plain; but we need to understand that error is nothing, and that its nothingness is not saved, but must be demonstrated in order to prove the somethingness—yea, the allness—of Truth." Science and Health, p. 346;
The recognition of evil's nothingness is a natural, logical consequence of acknowledging and accepting God's absolute allness. This is one of the key points of Christian Science, a point planted firmly on Christ Jesus' life and teachings. His knowledge of God, of his oneness with the Father, enabled him to demonstrate the nothingness of sin, physical sickness, and death.
