Safety in the Air

Safety is as readily accessible to us in the air as it is anywhere else.

Safety is not found merely in sophisticated technology and in the refining of methods and procedure. It is discovered in the spiritual understanding of real being—the eternal oneness of perfect God and perfect man. This understanding supplies the missing link exposed in a magazine article about an aircraft accident: "[It] served as a reminder that modern man, such an assumed master of technology, will never be able to control perfectly the wondrous machines he creates." Time, April 11, 1977, p. 22;

Christian Science shows us how to prove that God—who governs His spiritual universe—controls and directs everything, everywhere, that truly exists. Through the Christ—the healing action of divine Truth—we can deepen our apprehension of this fact, and broaden its practical application in human experience. And through the power of the Christ the protective effect of our spiritualization of thought will extend to our family and associates, and have a universal effect.
