"BE STILL, AND KNOW"
In the still and limpid pool of Godlike knowing
I bathed,
and cleansed of turbulence and fear,
I stepped forth healed.
The healing came when, deep in rapt communion,
I saw that God in uninvaded stillness dwells.
No self-willed drive exists in Him,
no jarring, headlong rush—
only the boundless, healing quiet of reality.
O restless one, dwell only in this tranquil moment!
Immerse yourself in holy peace.
Sink deep in it—
see unlabored Being holding you and all
within the warmth and rest of its embrace.
You, too, will come forth healed.
