Pressure or Poise?

Do you sometimes find yourself identifying with Lewis Carroll's Red Queen when she said it took all the running one could do just to stay in the same place? It's a common reaction to today's pace of living. Much research is being directed to problems related to pressure and frustration, and many people attribute the current interest in Oriental philosophies to a reaction against today's pressures.

Christian Science responds to this demand with the healing truth of God's loving control of His universe and man as taught in the Bible.

One can't read the Gospels without being struck by Christ Jesus' benign assurance that the Father is providing all good for His children. Jesus said, "Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things" ^{Matt. 6:32;} and, referring to the healing action of the Christ, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."^{11:38 ;}
