"The idea, or image, of God is ever active ...."

The Dynamics of Man's Being

Now and then I've wondered why people tend to admire, sometimes enviously, the "stars" of today, those in the limelight in the areas of stage, music, screen, sports.

Part of the answer, I feel, is that from an observer's view these stars are "twinkling," expressing themselves unhindered, and this self-expression is being greatly appreciated.

Yet under divine law, the government of the one Mind, each of us is actually a complete and distinct spiritual idea, including everything necessary for free and unlimited expression of the divine nature. But a spiritual idea is not just a thought that passively exists. Christian Science alerts us to the dynamics of man's being. The idea, or image, of God is ever active in its purpose, is eternally in the present tense of being. Each idea of God is always being, not merely existing.
