Completeness Within

The demonstration of completeness, of fulfillment and satisfaction in our lives, is based on the spiritual fact of God's allness. This truth, understood, destroys the loneliness, frustration, and dissatisfaction that so often beset mortals. It brings a deeper meaning to love and understanding between men and women. It makes life more satisfying and worthwhile. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, writes, "God is not part, but the whole." Miscellaneous Writings, p.102;

Christian Science reveals that the wholeness of God is the unbroken rhythm of perfect, complete, all-inclusive Life, which constitutes our real being. Man is not an incomplete mortal vainly trying to become complete. His completeness is not something to be obtained in some future time but is a present spiritual fact to be demonstrated.

Christ Jesus stressed the inseparability of God and man when he said, "I and my Father are one." John 10:30; In one of his parables he brought home the point of man's present completeness with the pronouncement, "Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine." Luke 15:31; And Paul, speaking of Christ, said, "Ye are complete in him." Col. 2:10;
