For many years our family has relied on Christian Science for the healing of physical ills and the solution of problems.

Three years ago I suffered greatly from what might have been diagnosed as arthritis of the shoulders and upper arms. It was difficult to sleep at night, and for many weeks I had to have assistance in putting on a coat. I spent much of the night reading the Bible, and Science and Health and other writings by Mrs. Eddy, and praying. In three months the disease symptoms completely disappeared and the healing has been permanent.

I should like to relate in more detail a healing of influenza I had last winter. I suffered miserably and was in a state of confusion, unable to concentrate or to think clearly. My main interest was to find some ease or comfort in matter, and if this was achieved I was satisfied. After about seven or eight days of lying in bed suffering in this manner, I called the practitioner one morning and said I was not improving and that I could not understand why. We talked a few minutes, and I then went back to bed while my wife talked with the practitioner.
