O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory (Ps. 108:1)
The Hebrew verb translated "fixed" means "to set, to stand upright, to establish." McCullough explains glory as "the inner life of man," sometimes used as a synonym of "soul." The Revised Standard Version translates: "My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody!"
That thy beloved may be delivered (Ps. 108:6)
