A sister introduced Christian Science to me in 1927, and it has been my only physician since then.
My first healing was of acute indigestion. The healing was quick, and there has been no recurrence of the difficulty.
One extremely hot day many years ago I suddenly felt quite ill. I held on to the back of a chair and declared (Ps. 121:6): "The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night." I realized that neither heat nor cold could harm me. Mrs. Eddy states in Science and Health (p. 475): "The Scriptures inform us that man is made in the image and likeness of God. Matter is not that likeness." And further on she says, "Man is spiritual and perfect; and because he is spiritual and perfect, he must be so understood in Christian Science." In a few moments I was entirely free, and never again have I been troubled by the heat.
