My first testimony appeared in the April 29, 1944, issue of the Sentinel. I have received so many other healings and blessings that I would like to share some with you.

I am very grateful for a healing my mother had. Before she learned of Christian Science, a lump appeared on her breast, and she had it removed by surgery. A few years later another lump appeared. By this time she was studying Science, and she called a Christian Science practitioner for help through prayer. She was completely healed.

I am also grateful for the healing of a nephew of typhoid meningitis. He was in the hospital in a coma. He knew nothing about Christian Science. Because the doctors had given up the case, his father called my sister, who had just begun the study of Science, and gave her permission to call a practitioner for help. Under the circumstances the practitioner agreed to pray for my nephew. He was healed instantaneously, and became an earnest student of Christian Science. This healing took place thirty years ago and proved to be complete and permanent.
