Family Harmony

Those who are concerned with maintaining harmony in family life need to consider the spiritual truth that brings it about. We need to raise our thinking to see that individual family members are really the perfect children of the one Mind, God, and that God's family is always harmonious.

To fulfill, support, and nourish worthwhile individual goals within a family structure, we need to see the God-derived qualities that constitute a family: the patience, support, consideration, respect, generosity, gentleness, calmness, love, and protection that are naturally included in a God-governed family.

To effect an ideal atmosphere in the family and to help bring about the expression of these qualities at home, prayerful thought needs to be devoted to the divine idea of family and its qualities. We can uplift our thought by acknowledging good qualities as based in divine Truth. And we can deny any false characteristics or beliefs hindering this demonstration.
