The Song of Love

There is today in the hearts of many a song: "What can I do to help? How can I best serve my fellowmen?" It is the song of Love.

One may be assured that when he yearns to serve he has been touched by Love, by that divine, ever-present Love we learn to know as God. And when one's thoughts and acts are inspired by God, the grace and growth that take place, the wisdom and conviction that follow, open the way for unlimited opportunities to bless others, for it is the nature of the song of Love to be heard and responded to.

The call to serve one's fellowmen is heard and answered individually, when one's life is made ready for it. One must first be prepared to serve God. He needs to learn to listen for divine guidance in knowing the needs of others. Otherwise ignorance and mere human opinion could keep him from providing true service. When one is receptive and responsive to Love, he comes into accord with an influence that purifies and elevates, refines and polishes, corrects and heals. Divine Love, God, not only tests the mettle of one's desire and willingness to serve but rouses one to the best and wisest efforts.
