How does one fully express in writing the gratitude and love one feels toward God, the Giver of all good, for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and for Mrs. Eddy, to whom God revealed the Comforter promised by the Master?

I still look back on my first healing with great gratitude. Although I had witnessed many healings among my associates in the theater, I was not greatly interested, as I was young and healthy and felt on top of the world.

Then, about a year after my baby was born, I had severe internal pains, and was not able to work. I went to a doctor, who told me it was a condition left from the birth of my child and I would have to go to a hospital for about two months. I was alone, with a tiny girl to support, and I could not afford to lose that much time from my work in the theater. Then I remembered what I had seen Christian Science do for others, and I turned to it for myself. I was led to a very fine practitioner.
