I am writing this testimony to express my deep gratitude to God for Christian Science, and with the hope that it will help others.

Many years ago I was placed in a mental institution where I remained for nineteen years. My dear husband tried many times without success to get me released. After eleven years he asked a Christian Science practitioner to help me through prayer. She consented to come and visit me regularly and to give me Christian Science treatment until I was well.

Soon after this prayerful work began the hospital allowed me to go home for short periods. This procedure was followed by longer periods, with return to the hospital for examinations. Finally, in 1963, my legal release was granted.
