With humility I wish to express gratitude for Christian Science...
With humility I wish to express gratitude for Christian Science and all it is doing for mankind, for my loved ones, and for myself. As a child I was enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School, where the truth of God and man was taught me by loving Sunday School teachers. When I was sixteen, the attractions of a materialistic way of life were more appealing than a life governed by God. I stopped attending Sunday School and joined the United States Navy.
For the next fifteen years I never attended church, and did not follow a Christian way of life. I could not figure out why I was so unhappy.
