[Ability to demonstrate Christian Science comes with study and practice of the truth taught by Christ Jesus and revealed in Science and Health. This series touches upon some ways in which this truth can be applied.]
Healing through persistent adherence to Truth
If disease seems stubborn and unyielding, then out-persist it by stout adherence to Truth. The fact of the situation is that God, infinite Truth, is perfect and omnipotent. God is the real man's Mind and Life, and He holds man now and forever within the allness of His harmony and goodness.
Realize and affirm these facts again and again. Insist that health is man's present birthright because he is in unity with divine Love. Regardless of error's false assertions to the contrary, persistently claim the nowness of God's infinite goodness, and man's inseparability from Him.
See clearly that disease and its seeming ability to resist treatment is nothing but a hypnotic delusion. It is merely a phase of the serpentine suggestion that man has a personal material life and mind separate from God. Draw its fangs by persistently contending for the truth of being that all real consciousness and life are of God, therefore spiritual and perfect.
