It is with great joy that I testify to the healing power of Truth as revealed in Christian Science.

Christian Science has been the way of Life for me and my family. No matter what the need, whenever this Science was applied, all problems were met. At one time our son, aged five months, became very ill. There was a great deal of swelling over his entire body, and much discomfort. Because my husband was not then interested in Christian Science, he called a doctor. The trouble was diagnosed as serious, and prescriptions for medicine were left. I had been praying to know that only God governs. I asked my husband if we should have the prescriptions filled or call a Christian Science practitioner. After some thought he consented to rely wholly upon Christian Science. This broke the mesmerism of believing there was a healing power other than God. The baby was healed in a very short time, to the amazement of the doctor, who, because of his concern, called to inquire about the child.

When our daughter was an infant, a growth appeared on her eyeball. This caused irritation and inflammation. I was told that because of the nature of this growth only an operation on the eye would remove it. Instead, treatment was asked for in Christian Science, and overnight the eye stopped watering, all inflammation disappeared, and shortly the growth vanished.
