NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME
II Corinthians 6:2
Is yesterday still occupying thought?
Can a sense of guilt with backward tilt
Spill the joys today has brought?
Do we dread tomorrow as bringing some sorrow,
Confusion or lack
To hold us back?
Oh, why need we borrow from past or tomorrow
Yesterday's tears
Or evil's false fears?
When by turning to Mind, right now we can find
Release from past woe;
And letting it go
Claim our dominion in God's promised way:
That each error revealed
By Truth will be healed
In the now of God's eternal day.
