What Animates Us?
What is animating us? Our health, our joy, and our ability to do good, are determined by what animates us.
Christian Science shows that divine Love is the real cause, the animating Principle of its infinite universe.
A mortal thinks from a material basis. He believes that he does things because matter is the intelligence, the life of the universe; he believes that activity is material. But it is the all-loving Mind, God, that is the real source of action. Man, the image of God, could not act without divine Mind. One who attempts to do things from the standpoint that matter is real is blind to reality. He needs to open his eyes to the opposite spiritual facts that all substance and action are mental and that real Mind is Love, the animating Principle of the universe.
