Announcement
The Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society with the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors announce the appointment of Richard N. Heath of Evanston, Illinois, as a Trustee of the Publishing Society effective May 1, 1970. Mr. Heath will succeed Mrs. Florence C. Southwell, who at her request is being reappointed to The Christian Science Board of Lectureship for the next lecture year.
Mr. Heath joined The Mother Church in 1935, receiving class instruction in 1941. He has served in branch church work as Sunday School superintendent, First Reader, and chairman of the executive board. He has been a member of special committees appointed by The Mother Church. From 1961 to 1965 he was Committee on Publication for Illinois.
Mr. Heath began his career as a reporter on the Detroit Free Press, later being advanced to night city editor and telegraph editor.
