Words of Current Interest

The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on November 8. 1970.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free (Gal. 5:1)

Following a slightly different text the Revised Standard Version reads, "For freedom Christ has set us free; stand fast therefore." Goodspeed renders: "This is the freedom with which Christ has freed us. So stand firm in it."

Use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another (Gal. 5:13)
