With a heart full of gratitude I submit this long overdue testimony. I am grateful to have been a regular pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School and that our three children have also had this Sunday School training. During their childhood scarlet fever was healed within three days. There were instantaneous healings of bee stings and crushed fingers. Impetigo was healed within one week, and ringworm of the scalp was also healed. The healing of this latter disease took several months, and it was a real testing time.

The children's father was not a student of Christian Science. After several weeks of treatment in Science, when the condition still had not been healed, he asked to have the children see a doctor. The doctor said one of the children had one of the worst cases he had ever seen, and that it would probably take a year to heal. He prescribed daily medication, weekly treatment, and absolute quarantine from other children. The medical treatments were not to start for two weeks, and my husband agreed to have Science help from a dedicated Christian Science practitioner during that time.

We had had the help of a practitioner for several weeks without apparent success before the doctor's diagnosis, but this time I myself really buckled down and prayed without ceasing. Within two weeks the condition had improved so much that we were able to postpone the contemplated medical treatment another two weeks. At the end of the second two-week period the condition was completely healed.
