On the Stormy Mountain
[For children]
Beverly glanced around. It was raining very hard up on the mountain, now. And it was dark.
She and her classmates were supposed to be camping out up there. They were spending a whole school week at Camp Tall Pines, and today they had hiked way up the trail from the cabins.
Right after they had cooked their supper over the campfire, it had begun to drizzle. Well, at least it hadn't rained on their hot dogs, but how can you study the stars when it's raining? So the boys and girls scrambled into their lean-tos and sang songs for awhile. The lean-tos were fairly good protection in light rain.
