For more than fifty years Christian Science has brought innumerable blessings into my life, and I again wish to express my profound gratitude for this wonderful and practical religion. I have indeed found it a panacea. Two previous testimonies of mine have appeared in issues of the Sentinel—one in December 12, 1931, and the other in October 13, 1951. The healing of bronchial asthma described in the latter has remained permanent. The ensuing years have brought many added proofs of God's care.

I am increasingly grateful that Christian Science was brought into our home during my childhood. I had about five years of excellent Christian Science Sunday School teaching. This has been of inestimable value to me over the years. Class instruction has been a tower of strength to me when severe problems have threatened to overwhelm me. Being able to seek counsel of a consecrated teacher and attend the inspiring association meetings has comforted and uplifted me on many occasions. How wise Mrs. Eddy was to provide for class teaching!

More than fifteen years ago I was stricken with a very sudden and severe illness. For some days there was great physical suffering, and also periods when I was only semiconscious. I feel quite sure that the prayers of a devoted practitioner and loving care in a Christian Science nursing home saved my life. After I was able to return to my home, my hair all came out and my fingernails were far from normal. I was not really well or free from suffering for more than a year, but I studied and prayed earnestly, and on a few occasions had further treatment from a practitioner. My hair came in heavier than before, and my nails were fully restored. Since then my health has been excellent, better than ever before.
