METAPHYSICAL VIEWS

All through that rainy night
great dogwoods, pink and white,
were blooming. But sunlight revealed them, when it fell
in bright shafts to dispel
the dark and cold. So hells of false beliefs, when prayer
shafted truths through despair,
dissolved! Good was right where dark evil hissed that pain,
disease, and death could reign.
Now in Love's light I gain imperishable views
of Spirit's world; rich, new—
God's gift to me—to you.
