Questioner: Some people in today's complex world seem to get along with everyone. Others may get along with most people, but perhaps there's somebody at school, at work, or at home who rubs them the wrong way so that sparks fly.

We encounter friction in many forms in our lives. When it appears in a piece of machinery, it's a simple task to pour some oil into the machine to eliminate it. But human relationships are much more complicated and ways of easing friction far more difficult to find.
