PROGRESS REPORT No. 34

"We do not need the Church Center to serve ourselves. We need it to serve mankind better."

This comment by David E. Sleeper, Executive Administrator of The Mother Church, typified the spirit of sharing that pervaded a special meeting on the Christian Science Church Center for employees and local members of The Mother Church last March. The first of two articles on this meeting appeared in the June 7 issue of the Christian Science Sentinel.

The Church of Christ, Scientist, Mr. Sleeper told the audience, exists to share with the world Jesus' method of meeting human needs through spiritual power. His talk was titled "How Our Church Center Will Help The Mother Church Respond to the World's Needs."
