In our family of two children, cases of healing in Christian Science have been very frequent. They were effected most often with the aid of Christian Science practitioners, and on several occasions the healing was instantaneous. Among these healings were those of dislocation of the kneecap, inflammation of the middle ear, measles, an undiagnosed illness accompanied by vomiting and coma, hemorrhoids, and pain in the chest. In addition, financial and other problems have been solved in Christian Science.

It goes without saying that I feel deep gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, and for Mrs. Eddy, who made practical for all the world the works and teachings of Jesus and took effective measures to ensure that the way of salvation need no longer be obstructed by misunderstanding or forgetfulness.

It is significant that the distance between practitioner and patient plays no part in the efficacy of treatment through prayer in Christian Science. At the same time, it is very comforting to know that there are practitioners in nearly all parts of the world. Two examples of healing in our family illustrate these two points.
