A Saturday Job

[For young adults]

Bill wanted a Saturday job, but he wasn't sure he was going to find one. The counselor at school said there were many applicants and few requests for student help.

After several weeks of searching, Bill felt discouraged. Then his mother suggested that he approach the problem from the standpoint of Christian Science. Although he used what he knew of Christian Science for protection in riding his motorcycle, he doubted if it could help him in this situation, but he let his mother talk to him about it anyway.

His willingness to listen was the opening wedge for Truth to help him. Bill knew the definition of man given by Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health, so they began with that. The part "He is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas" Science and Health, p. 475; stood out. No limitation there, they agreed.
