THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE TEXTBOOK

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy is the textbook of Christian Science. MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS DUE MAY 1

The opportunity for membership in The Mother Church comes twice a year—in May or June (applications due by May 1) and in November (applications due by October 1). If you are an earnest student of Christian Science who has not yet taken this step, you are warmly invited to apply for membership during the current admission period.

You may obtain an application form from any Christian Science Reading Room, branch church or society, or from a Christian Science practitioner (listed in The Christian Science Journal); or you may write directly to Charles Henry Gabriel, Clerk of The Mother Church, 107 Falmouth Street, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. 02115.

TESTIMONY MEETINGS

Meetings at which testimonies of Christian Science healing are given, are held in Christian Science churches on Wednesdays. A cordial invitation to attend these meetings, as well as the Sunday services, is extended to all. Information telling where and when these are held is given in the Directory in The Christian Science Journal.

A CONTINUING INVITATION

Christian Scientists everywhere are encouraged to write religious articles and poems suitable for publication in one of the periodicals. Particular attention can and should be given to subjects of special value and concern to the times and to the people of one's own locality.

Manuscripts should be addressed to The Christian Science Publishing Society, Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department, One Norway Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02115. A special leaflet offering helps to interested contributors will be mailed upon request.

NOTES FROM THE PUBLISHING SOCIETY

The Board of Trustees announces that revised editions of The Mother Church by Joseph Armstrong and The Mother Church Extension by Margaret Williamson have just been published in a new format. Designed with refreshingly modern covers, they may be purchased as a matching set in an attractive slipcase or separately. The Mother Church is priced at $4.50 and The Mother Church Extension at $3.50. Both volumes in a slipcase sell for $8.00.
