GOD'S OMNIPRESENT GOOD

Why do we reach away from the here
into the there for our treasures?
Why do we tax some future year
with hope for meager measures
of happiness?

God puts no less
of good in here than in there.
The "way back then" and the "some day when"
hold no more good than is at hand
always.

Right now, right here
His blessings are at our command!
