There Is a Way Out

Many people are prone to be dismayed and discouraged if their lives are not as productive as they had hoped. They seem to be influenced by gloomy pictures, etched in consciousness by fears of penalty for mistakes of the past, by a distrust in their present ability to make right decisions, and by a dread of what the future holds for them. Much of their fearful reasoning is predicated on hopelessness that argues they can do nothing about their dilemma, so why try?

Fortunately, there is a way out. All may turn to the Bible and discover the wealth of divine help it promises. They can find great faith and inspiration by prayerfully studying such comforting counsel as that of the prophet Isaiah. In voicing God's Word, he gives this assurance, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Isa. 41:10;

We may rejoice in the fact that potent spiritual help is available to us now. As we learn to view our present circumstances from this vantage point, rather than looking to the past for causes or to the future for answers, we shall see that it is possible for us to witness now God's righteousness and His strength. In other words, we shall learn that the one, intelligent Mind communicates with us at all times in terms of the practical steps to take out of our problems. If this statement were not true, the words "I will help thee" would be meaningless.
