For years my children and I have been blessed, protected, and sustained through an understanding of God's love for man as taught in Christian Science.

The first healing we experienced was that of a burn. Our daughter, who was about two years old, tipped over a cup of soup, which I had just removed from the heat where it had been boiling only seconds before. The hot liquid spilled over her hand and arm. As she cried out in pain, I hurried to call a practitioner. I knew Christian Science worked, but I had not learned how to apply it. The practitioner began to give the child treatment immediately. The child stopped crying, and in just a few minutes all the redness and the small blisters' that had started to form disappeared, and the skin was normal again.
