The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on May 19, 1968.

Solomon's porch (John 10:23)

Plummer refers to it as a colonnade or cloister in the Temple Courts, apparently on the east side. According to tradition, it was a part of Solomon's Temple which in some way had survived the various destructions and re-buildings suffered by this famous shrine. It is also mentioned in Acts 3:11.

I told you, and ye believed not (John 10:25)
