Miracles of healing are neither impossible nor absurd, according to the Theological Council of the 2.6-million-member American Lutheran Church.
In a report to the church's biennial convention here, the council told the 1,000 delegates that when God acts directly in answer to prayer and heals without the use of therapeutic agents, "such healing may be a real experience in the life of many Christians." . . .
