During my college years and later, I studied philosophy, psychology, and various religions in my search for the truth. When these systems held no answers for me and I was about to give up trying any further, Christian Science was presented to me. This occurred over forty years ago. I knew I had found the answers to all my searching questions.
Through many years of study and application of Christian Science, I have always found gratitude a most helpful quality in healing. Thanking God for victory when, to human sense, there is yet no victory sets one in tune with divine Mind, from whence come restoration and regeneration. This has been proven many times in my experience.
Not long ago I suffered from such severe internal pain and abdominal swelling that clothes were most uncomfortable. For three weeks I was unable to lie down to sleep at night and never had a moment of comfort. Lifting the lightest object brought more pain. There were times when it was difficult to think clearly. But I always knew that God was taking care of me, and I thanked Him for it.
