My first interest in Christian Science goes back thirty years when, soon after the passing on of my father, the depression years were upon us and my mother and I were facing a severe problem of lack. We both had a strong faith in God and had had answers to prayer. However, our church affiliation did not seem to give us the strength we needed. A friend directed us to Christian Science.
After we took up the study of Science, our financial problems were solved in an orderly fashion and in ways that at the time seemed miraculous. Now we realize that we were just seeing the results of letting God direct us. Through the years we have had many evidences of God's protection and guidance in working out problems of health, business, and human relationships.
I would like to express some of the gratitude I feel for Christian Science by testifying to a healing I experienced about five years ago.
